The BSc Information Technology programme offers access to state-of-the-art internetworking labs with Cisco equipment, blade servers, and simulation software, blending practical skills with theoretical knowledge to prepare students for IT careers in support, project development, and beyond. Graduates have secured positions at leading firms like KPMG, IBM, and TalkTalk, providing a competitive edge through remote access and industry-relevant training.Students will bridge theory and practice via diverse learning methods, including lab work, group projects, and assignments in web and system design, supported by industry-connected faculty. Career development is enhanced through personalized guidance, external events, transferable skills training, and optional paid placements, with opportunities for a 12-month work experience or progression to an MComp.
