Our History BA (Hons) degree was developed through an innovative consultation process with current, recent, and prospective students. It is delivered by acclaimed historians who have received awards and grants for teaching excellence.Spanning 1600 to the present with a focus on the modern era, the program covers Britain and mainland Europe, extending to North America, the British Empire, Soviet Russia, South Asia, Australia, and China. It progresses from broad survey courses to histories of specific countries or themes, culminating in specialist case studies. Students may also opt to study a foreign language.
