Rooted in Loughborough's 100-year tradition of theory and practice, it delivers hands-on, studio-based learning supported by architectural practitioners and drawing on our renowned expertise in construction, engineering, and building energy. Students collaborate with allied disciplines across the School and University to simulate real-world scenarios, fostering exceptional architects who shape the buildings and spaces we inhabit—an interdisciplinary field blending art, history, physics, engineering, and more.Each year, our End of Year Show celebrates student achievements and connects graduates with hiring practitioners. The course exempts you from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Part I exam, with potential transfer to our extended MArch programme to pursue Chartered Architect status.
