This course equips students with essential forensic and cybersecurity skills to analyse digital devices and safeguard businesses against malicious attacks. Participants will develop expertise in digital forensic analysis, such as examining hard drives, and implement security measures for computer systems and networks. Key activities include combining knowledge from critical fields, learning investigative techniques, and applying practical tools on systems like Hacktivity to simulate real-world scenarios. The program is accredited by the British Computer Society and can be studied over four years, including an integrated master's option.Students gain access to industry-standard software like EnCase and Autopsy, opportunities to network with professionals through conferences and placements, and insights from partnerships with West Yorkshire Police via the Cybercrime and Security Innovation Centre.
