This nationally accredited course prepares early childhood professionals to teach in schools and early learning centres while advocating for young children. It emphasises linking theory with practical application, equipping graduates with the knowledge, skills, and expertise to create high-quality education programs for children from birth to eight years old.Through partnerships with over 1,000 schools and centres, pre-service teachers gain hands-on experience in diverse settings, including public, private, metropolitan, regional, and remote environments, while engaging with children, families, and communities. In their fourth year, students can select specialised units to enhance their expertise, such as those meeting accreditation for Catholic schools. Additionally, final-year students may apply for internships in schools or early learning settings.
