You will build creative and scholarly skills, using music as the primary medium for exploration across genres like Classical, Jazz, Contemporary Commercial, Avant-Garde, and Popular styles including Hip Hop and Electronic Music. Through practical and contextual studies, you will enhance critical, analytical, and performance abilities in solo or ensemble settings, with opportunities for orchestration and composition via collaborative projects. Modules also prepare you for education and community music roles, and we offer a rare undergraduate module in Music Therapy.
