Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging, BSc (Hons)

Our accredited three-year full-time Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging programme, recognised by the Health and Care Professions Council and the Society and College of Radiographers, equips students with transferable skills for NHS roles and international opportunities. Graduates will collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver compassionate care across all ages, operating advanced imaging equipment like CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray to diagnose injuries and diseases.The programme fosters an interdisciplinary environment with integrated university studies and clinical placements in South and West Wales, ensuring competitiveness in the job market. Students receive strong academic support, diverse placement experiences, and training in skills like cannulation, plus opportunities for research, elective placements abroad, and access to specialised facilities, with 95% employability within six months.
