Our three-year full-time Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging programme is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and the Society and College of Radiographers. Skills gained are transferable across NHS organisations and recognised internationally, equipping you to become a qualified diagnostic radiographer. You will learn to operate advanced imaging equipment—including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray—while providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across all age groups, producing and interpreting images for injury and disease diagnosis.The programme offers an interdisciplinary environment with inter-professional learning, integrating university study and clinical placements in South and West Wales NHS sites. Supported by experienced tutors and clinical lecturers, you will undertake varied placements, a research project, and distinctive features like cannulation training, elective placements (including abroad), and state-of-the-art facilities.
