The Brunel Law LLB provides a qualifying law degree that fosters a comprehensive understanding of English law, including its theories and principles. Students gain essential research, analytical, and communication skills for a successful legal career. The programme offers a three-year full-time option or a four-year version with a professional placement year between years two and three. In the final year, students can specialise in specific areas of interest and access careers advisers for guidance on placements and further studies.As of 1 September 2021, qualifying as a solicitor requires a degree and passing the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) Parts 1 and 2, with the Brunel LLB covering core subjects and offering transitional options for eligible students. For barristers, it meets the foundations of legal knowledge. Graduates develop transferable skills, making them attractive for law and non-law roles.
