Engineering with Business, BEng (Hons), with industry placement

This degree integrates a comprehensive education in engineering, engineering management, and business, providing analytical tools and techniques to comprehend essential processes and technologies throughout the engineering sector. As an engineering program infused with a business focus, it imparts foundational scientific, mathematical, and technical skills to grasp engineering designs and systems, while fostering key competencies in management, business model development, entrepreneurship, financial management, accounting, and project management.Practical projects cultivate systems thinking, and an optional industry placement year enhances hands-on engineering expertise and employability. Core elements include computer science, embedded systems, digital electronics, data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, sensor systems, and robotics, alongside universal topics like employability skills. Students may select optional modules from Brunel’s engineering departments to build expertise in civil, mechanical, aerospace, or chemical engineering. The BEng Engineering with Business is a three-year bachelor's degree (four years with placement), with a four-year MEng option (five years with placement).
