Brunel's BEng in Electronic and Electrical Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) is a contemporary programme designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for careers and research in electronic and electrical engineering, with a focus on AI applications. It covers key concepts in intelligent processing systems, software applications, system implementation, and biologically inspired engineering, alongside foundational subjects such as design, structures, materials, fluid mechanics, electronics, mathematics, and technical drawing. Specialisation in AI provides in-depth understanding of its principles and related engineering techniques.Students access state-of-the-art facilities, including computer, electronics, power, and control laboratories, plus industry-standard software in dedicated clusters. Accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the degree meets academic requirements for Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status and professional engineer qualification. It is offered full-time over three years or four years with a placement year.
