Many students advance to postgraduate studies, gaining skills in social justice, inclusion, and the role of education in diverse UK and international societies.The programme balances theory with practice through three annual placements in multicultural schools and organisations, fostering situated learning aligned with career goals like teaching or youth work. It covers core strands including foundations of education, education and society, education and work, and research. Expert staff, informed by their research, ensure high-quality teaching and effective integration of theory and practice, enhanced by co-curricular activities and emerging international opportunities. Typical modules include Human Development, Education & Society, Growing up in 21st Century Britain, and Educational Spaces.
