The Business Computing BSc enables specialisation in eBusiness, exploring how software and IT systems support transactions and drive sales. Through theory and practical application, students master dynamic processes for efficient information delivery and business operations, while understanding adaptive organisational systems. Core content covers models and approaches for successful eBusiness platforms. Flexible module selection allows gradual specialisation, with transfers from Computer Science possible up to Year 2 start, and specialisms until Year 3.One-third of each year is project-based, including team software development in Years 1-2, an individual final-year project, and showcasing at the Made in Brunel event with awards from Cisco, Sky, and Xerox. A year-long placement option between Years 2-3 boosts employability, with graduates joining Accenture, Microsoft, and Barclays. BCS-accredited for CITP registration and membership.
