About the course

Embark on a dynamic career in game art through our BA (Hons) Game Technical Art programme, which seamlessly integrates artistic creativity with technological expertise. Students develop skills in 3D modelling, animation, motion capture, and real-time rendering using state-of-the-art facilities, including high-performance workstations, graphics tablets, and industry-standard software like Autodesk Maya and Adobe Creative Cloud. Engage in collaborative projects with industry professionals and renowned studios, gaining mentorship and exposure to the latest trends in game design. The course includes an optional professional placement year, available after the second year, allowing students to work with employers and explore career paths. University support, including career networks, assists in securing placements, with some students returning to these roles post-graduation.
