As part of the Film Futures suite, the course equips graduates with the theory, practical experience, and industry trends needed to succeed in a dynamic film environment.An optional professional placement year is available, enabling students to spend a full year with an employer after completing their second year. This experience offers valuable insights into potential careers, with some students returning to the same employers post-graduation. Students must secure a suitable placement using the University's extensive networks and careers support, and upon success, can transfer to the placement version of the course. Note that fees during this year equate to 20% of the full-time course fee.
