The BPS-accredited BSc (Hons) Psychology explores human behaviour from infancy to old age, analysing factors influencing the psyche—from biology and physiology to sociological elements like parenting, socialisation, and education, as well as therapeutic methods such as mindfulness and counselling. As our broadest psychology degree, it examines how the body and brain interact to navigate complex environments, including disruptions from neurodegenerative diseases, traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse, or neurodevelopmental disorders.Successful completion grants BPS Graduate Membership and Graduate Basis for Registration, paving the way to Chartered Psychologist status in fields like clinical, educational, counselling, health, developmental, cognitive neuroscience, or applied behaviour analysis. Placement Year and International Experience Year options are available post-enrolment at Bangor; see our website for details or contact us. Those lacking qualifications or returning to study may consider the Psychology (with Foundation Year) C80F programme.
