A Bachelor of Asian Studies equips students by mastering an Asian language, building in-depth regional knowledge, and developing the expertise that employers value for careers in the Asian Century.The program offers adventure through various study opportunities in the region, with funding support to facilitate hands-on experiences. Our interdisciplinary community of scholars, policymakers, researchers, and students fosters Australia's understanding of its neighbours. Students can tailor majors or minors in areas like languages, regions, or disciplines—such as Modern Chinese Language or Asia-Pacific Politics—and are encouraged to complete a full language major. Placement testing ensures entry at the appropriate proficiency level for those with prior expertise.
