About Falmouth

Falmouth is a vibrant and welcoming community, and the University is home to over 5,000 students. Our campuses are places where people work together, across disciplines and departments, to create exciting new ideas, projects, products, and solutions. Our Student Union offers more than 100 clubs and societies and opportunities to get involved with volunteering.

Falmouth University has a history of almost 120 years, but its future-focussed courses, world-class facilities and industry-connected staff mean that it is at the cutting-edge of the Creative Industries. We do things for real at Falmouth, so students get real hands-on experience while they study. With an emphasis on impact and innovation, Falmouth’s students, alumni, and staff are working on exciting projects.

There aren’t many universities that have a campus only a five-minute walk from the beach. Further afield, Cornwall’s stunning natural environment offers the sort of beauty that has been inspiring creatives for generations. Our two stunning campuses are set in beautiful gardens, equipped with world-class facilities, and offer great spaces for learning and socialising.
