The television production and online entertainment industries are expanding globally, with audiences demanding fresh content across emerging channels and platforms. The BA TV Production programme at XJTLU's Academy of Film and Creative Technology equips students with skills in programme planning, production, and Intellectual Property creation, alongside expertise in social media, short videos, AI workflows, and research theory in TV entertainment and communications. Covering diverse genres—from reality shows and documentaries to livestreaming and micro-series—students gain hands-on experience in advanced TV studios, mastering the full production lifecycle from ideation to distribution.This industry-focused programme integrates AI techniques, real-world challenges, and XJTLU's 3.0 Ecosystem Model, blending education, research, and entrepreneurship. Students collaborate with professionals via extensive partnerships, utilise state-of-the-art facilities like multicamera studios and edit suites, and learn from award-winning faculty in the Art and Culture Technology Centre (ACTC) and Creative Technology and Industry Centre (CTIC), preparing them for dynamic careers in creative industries.
