The BEng in Mechatronics and Robotic Systems is a cutting-edge programme designed to equip students with essential skills and specialised knowledge for thriving in the rapidly expanding robotics industry. Students will explore the integration of technologies from mechanical engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, control engineering, scientific computing, and artificial intelligence, graduating with the expertise to design, integrate, and test comprehensive mechatronic systems and products.Studying at XJTLU offers access to advanced facilities, including mechatronics labs with development kits for projects like autonomous vehicles, bionic robots, and quadcopters. Participants can master state-of-the-art software and hardware, gain practical experience through field trips, site visits, and internships in the Yangtze River Delta's robotics sector, and earn dual degrees: one from XJTLU recognised by the Chinese Ministry of Education and another from the University of Liverpool, a prestigious Russell Group institution.
