The BSc Economics programme offers comprehensive training in theoretical and quantitative economic tools, enabling you to analyse and interpret real-world market mechanisms. All students undertake rigorous core modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics, econometrics, and mathematical methods, with optional modules allowing customisation towards theoretical or applied focus.Studying Economics at XJTLU provides a broad range of modules on theoretical, applied, and specialised topics; deep insights into the global and Chinese economies, including business contributions to development; work placements via strong public-private sector links; preparation for the CFA Institute Investment Foundations Certificate (China's only accepted module, with discounted fees); options for the 2+2 route at the University of Liverpool, overseas exchanges; and dual degrees from XJTLU (China’s Ministry of Education) and the University of Liverpool (Russell Group).
