Media.The Bachelor of Media is a progressive, internationally recognised course of study that prepares you for a career in the dynamic media-related industries.You will develop in-demand skills in storytelling, production and media research across a variety of platforms, giving you access to fields such as film, television, journalism, radio, marketing and advertising, strategic communications, media research and events management.Delivered by The Media School and its network of industry and international partners, the Bachelor of Media gives you access to contemporary equipment, facilities, and media professionals.Specialisations are offered in Screen, News and Journalism, Strategic Communications and Media Practice and Analysis. An inbuilt Media Projects production minor immerses you in the industry from your Intermediate Year, with the flexibility to design, create and deliver your own assessment.Graduate from the degree with a portfolio of work completed through your major and production minor, media research and analytics, and international experience.Develop professional networks with fieldtrips, exchanges and an internship with our leading partner institutions and professional networks. Find yourself working on productions for the growing film, television and animation industries, in newsrooms, scientific or sports organisations, and with NGOs. Opportunities – many fully funded – are available in Japan, Malaysia, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom.The structure of the Bachelor of Media gives you the option to focus almost fully on media or to choose to complete a second major from across the University.
