The Bachelor of Education (Primary) is a pre-service teachingprogram which aims to prepare beginning teachers to work in the early years ofschooling, Prep to Year 6, and to provide a base for continuing professionallearning in educational theory and practice.The Bachelor of Education (Primary) course is accredited throughthe Tasmanian Teachers Registration Board and mutually recognised in allother states, meaning that in mainland states you are also qualified to teachfrom Prep (or equivalent) to grade 6. A particular strength of this course isthe broad base that it provides in terms of equipping you to teach across awide range of grade levels within formal schooling contexts.The program isavailable internally at Launceston and Cradle Coast campuses andexternally/fully on-line from anywhere in the world, either full-time orpart-time.
