About the course

The Bachelor of Economics allows you to develop a detailed understanding of the economic issues and factors, both national and international, that determine how macro and micro economic systems are organised and how decisions are made by individuals, firms, and governments.This on-campus, 3-year full-time or part-time equivalent course is offered on-campus only at the Hobart campus. While the first year of the degree is also offered at Launceston and a limited number of first year units are also available at the Cradle Coast Campus, students must transfer to the Hobart campus to complete the degree.You will choose to major in either Economic Analysis or Economic Foundations with the option of taking second major in Finance or another subject area.
