Our MSci in Neuroscience invites students to explore groundbreaking discoveries in the brain and nervous system, from molecular and cellular neurobiology to development, genetics, neurophysiology, behaviour, and brain disorders. You'll join a supportive community in the School of Life Sciences, gaining hands-on lab experience from Year 1, including interactive experiments, workshops, and skills in computing, programming, data analysis, and communication. As the UK's first university to offer a neurobiology degree, Sussex boasts over 50 research groups spanning vision, consciousness, AI, and behaviour.Upon graduation, you'll possess strong analytical and data-handling skills for careers in biotechnology, healthcare, academic research, science writing, or engagement. The integrated Masters year provides advanced training through an individual research project, enhancing technical and scientific communication abilities. We also offer this as a three-year BSc.
