Adult nursing is a demanding yet fulfilling profession, offering diverse opportunities to care for individuals and advance public health. At Stirling, students acquire globally recognised skills in contemporary nursing through a programme approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council and celebrated for its excellence. This dynamic field equips learners with the education and assurance needed to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, fostering values of integrity, resilience, and compassion to deliver safe, respectful care.Throughout the course, students receive personalised support from a tutor, academic assessor, practice assessor, and supervisor during practical experiences. The programme inspires and challenges participants to emerge as confident practitioners ready for health and social care roles. The BSc Nursing spans three years, while the BSc (Hons) extends to four years, incorporating a dissertation and final placement for registration and honours qualification.
