This BSc Podiatry degree will give you the knowledge and hands-on skills you need to make a positive impact on people’s lives as a podiatrist. As the only Russell Group university in the UK to teach podiatry, we offer a course that is both research-led and student-focused.As you train to become a podiatrist you'll attend 1,000 hours in placement settings, ranging from the community and acute care to the private and commercial sectors. You'll benefit from the experience of treating real patients under close supervision, and with individual feedback.You will carry out clinical assessment procedures under supervision, including gait analysis and tests to detect changes in health status. You will be supported in learning how to design and implement care and rehabilitation plans for a range of patients. You will take part in four UK placements ensuring you are career-ready when you graduate.Accredited by the Royal College of Podiatry and approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
