About the course

This three-year Neuroscience degree delves into the nervous system, from molecular mechanisms to behavioural aspects, while examining neurological disorders and broader topics in physiology, pharmacology, and the immune system. Based in a state-of-the-art Life Sciences facility, students explore neuroscience's role in preventing conditions like Alzheimer's disease. The program offers flexibility through diverse modules, opportunities for a year in the pharmaceutical industry or a semester abroad, and pathways to careers in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, research, and clinical science. Over 99% of Biological Sciences graduates secure employment or further study within 15 months of graduation.The curriculum includes modules such as Chemistry of Life and Fundamentals of Cell Biology in Year 1, Neuroscience and Bioinformatics in Year 2, and Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience in Year 3. Assessment methods encompass coursework, laboratory reports, essays, projects, presentations, and exams, all aimed at building skills for post-graduation success.
