About the course

This integrated Masters in Languages degree enables you to study French, German, or Spanish, alongside the societies and cultures where these languages are spoken. Beginning at undergraduate level, you can complete a master’s in four years, with 96% of graduates entering employment or further study within 15 months.* The program includes a year abroad at a university in a French, German, or Spanish-speaking country, where you will immerse yourself in the language, enhance critical thinking, interpret cultures, and produce a dissertation on a topic of interest, such as translation, contemporary society, literature, film, ethnography, or politics.Modules may include Applications of Linguistics, Corpus Linguistics, Globalisation, and Understanding Culture.
