Uncover the secrets of life in the oceans with Southampton’s three-year multidisciplinary Marine Biology with Oceanography degree programme. You'll be part of one of the largest marine science communities in Europe, the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS). Students are able to make use of the excellent teaching labs and cutting-edge research labs as well as our research vessels which are only a 10 minute walk from the lecture theatres.With this course, you can:

• Gain detailed knowledge of marine biota and the physics, chemistry and sedimentology that influence them

• Cover a broad variety of topics, from hydrothermal vents to coastal lagoons
