This four-year integrated Geology Masters programme explores key aspects of Earth sciences, including rocks, fossils, volcanoes, oceans, and the atmosphere. Students participate in extensive field-based training across the UK and Europe, such as a week-long residential course in Tenerife on volcanic processes and a five-week Independent Mapping Project. Delivered at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton, a premier global hub for ocean and Earth science research, the course equips graduates for successful careers in research (often at PhD level) or roles with companies like Shell and BP.
