Environmental Geoscience, BSc (Hons)

This three-year Environmental Geoscience degree integrates geology, geography, and oceanography to explore Earth system processes on land, in the ocean, crust, and atmosphere. Based at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS)—a global leader in ocean science—students can select Geoscience or Marine pathways, tailoring studies to their interests. Graduates pursue careers as geo-environmentalists, hydrographic surveyors, data scientists, or environmental consultants.Key features include multidisciplinary training with extensive fieldwork, flexible module choices, and learning via lectures, labs, and fieldwork for industry-relevant skills.
