Electronic Engineering, MEng (Hons), with industry placement

Our MEng Electronic Engineering degree can also be taken with an additional year in industry. The year in industry is taken after Year 2 or Year 3 and is assessed by academics and industry experts. This can be a great way to give you a competitive edge among graduate recruiters by showing you can relate your academic skills and knowledge to contemporary industrial practice.Our five-year MEng Electronic Engineering degree with industrial studies will allow you to develop the skills, knowledge, and application required for any area of the electronics industry, from computer processors and artificial intelligence, to nanoscale materials and communication techniques. This programme will allow you to focus your knowledge in your third and fourth years by selecting options from an extensive range of specialist technical modules and you will participate in a group project that will aim to solve a real industry problem. This project will test and further develop your technical skills but also will develop your management skills as you will work in a team that needs to deliver a solution to a real engineering problem.
