About the course

The four-year MEng in Computer Science builds on the BSc, equipping students with essential professional skills, knowledge, and expertise in areas like programming languages, development environments, and requirements modelling. This programme prepares graduates for diverse computing careers through outstanding facilities, expert teaching, and strong industry connections, including career fairs and startup support. Accredited by the British Computer Society and the Institution of Engineering and Technology, it ensures high demand for its alumni, known for innovative solutions and advanced technical abilities.The curriculum allows tailoring to individual interests, with core modules in programming, systems, and mathematics during the first two years, followed by optional modules and an individual project in the third year. The fourth year focuses on engineering design, management, and industry collaboration through group projects.
