You will be equipped with the skills required to play an integral part in future scientific development.You will be based at the heart of our green Highfield Campus in our multi-million pound Institute for Life Sciences building and you will explore how modern molecular bioscience approaches can solve key challenges in cell biology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology and genetics.We will offer you a broad variety of options, with an opportunity to take a year in employment for those who want to gain experience in an industrial setting.You will gain key laboratory skills throughout your degree and in your final year, and have the opportunity to work alongside one of our leading research groups completing an individual research project in an area of your choice, including molecular and cellular biology, neuroscience, structural biology or plant biochemistry.Our Biochemistry MSci degree is the perfect stepping stone to a PhD or to progress into a variety of careers in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, forensic science, or teaching.
