About the course

Study zoology from day one, build up field experience, and follow specific interests in this vast and fascinating area of study. Our award-winning Whiteknights campus – with its fantastic biodiversity – acts as a living laboratory, and we have our own accredited, on-site museum, the Cole Museum of Zoology. Used extensively in teaching, the Museum provides opportunities to develop hands-on skills in natural history conservation. In your final year, you'll complete a research project under expert supervision, either in the field or the lab. Projects cover a huge range of topics, from turtle evolution or insect ecology, to urban mammals such as hedgehogs and foxes. For more information, please visit the programme page: https://www.reading.ac.uk/ready-to-study/study/subject-area/zoology-ug/bsc-zoology
