This BA in Philosophy and Classical Studies at the University of Reading invites students to explore core concepts of truth, reality, ethics, and the civilisations of ancient Greece and Rome, drawing on our distinctive antiquities collection. The programme develops critical thinking, logical analysis, and argumentation skills through in-depth study of philosophical principles, texts, and figures, with expertise in moral philosophy, mind, and language. Small class sizes in both departments ensure personalised attention.
