About the course

Our LLB Law with Criminology degree equips you with the knowledge and skills for a career in law, while delving into concepts of crime and justice. Taught by experts in the School of Law, the programme helps you grasp the law within criminal justice and criminological contexts. You will address contemporary issues like social injustice, build a critical understanding of the English legal system, and focus on key areas such as contract, tort, criminal, and public law. Additionally, you will examine core criminology theories and apply legal principles to practical scenarios.Sample modules include English Legal System and Skills, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Equity and Trusts, Criminological Research Methods, and Young People, Crime and Justice. These are provisionally approved for 2025/26 and subject to change; please check the university website for updates, as not all options may be available.
