Our BSc Criminology degree, offered by the School of Law, is a three-year program designed for those interested in law, sociology, politics, and social policy. It explores crime and criminal justice, covering sociological, criminological, and legal concepts to build a critical understanding of their causes, controls, consequences, and relationship with the law. Students will also gain knowledge of social science research methodologies and ethics, addressing key questions such as the nature of crime, justice, and the role of human versus social factors.The program emphasizes flexibility, allowing pursuit of personal interests through optional modules alongside LLB Law students. Core modules include Introduction to Criminology, Legal Skills for Criminologists, Criminal Law, Introduction to Criminal Justice, Crime and Media, and Advanced Criminological Theory.
