Explore global markets, business environments, and industries through our BSc Business Economics with Placement Year programme. In the initial two years, students undertake core modules akin to those in the BSc Economics course, building essential skills and knowledge for an economist's career. Subsequently, they delve into specialised business economics topics in the second and final years, broadening perspectives on economic and business issues to develop a comprehensive skill set and in-depth understanding.Key modules, provisionally approved for 2025/26 and subject to final university approval, include Principles of Economics 1 and 2, Applied Economics and Policy, Core Competencies in Economics, and Games and Economic Behaviour.
