Robotics, MEng (Hons)

The MEng Robotics is a four-year integrated master's programme accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council, fully meeting academic requirements for Chartered Engineer registration. It covers fundamental and specialist robotics concepts, delving into emerging technologies through a hands-on approach in specialist laboratories. Extensive practical sessions consolidate lecture theory, while students access advanced equipment in our new engineering and design facility.The programme features a major final-year robotics design and implementation project, showcasing technical and managerial skills, often with industrial partners. Opportunities include optional work placements in years two or three, summer internships with university researchers, and engagement in world-class robotics research.
