Inspired by film, you will create unique experiences using innovative methods, developing practical, critical, and creative skills to excel in evolving film and media industries.Practice-based learning emphasises filmmaking through hands-on production, individual and collaborative work, narrative and experimental approaches, with an independent spirit and industry standards. Learn from award-winning filmmakers, academics, and technical experts using professional facilities, including an on-site cinema. In Plymouth's cinematic city, collaborate with Imperfect Cinema, tackle live briefs, and build portfolios. Graduates launch careers as cinematographers, producers, editors, and more at Aardman, BBC, ITV, and Twofour. NSS 2023: 94% found the course intellectually stimulating; 100% felt free to express ideas.
