In today's society, healthy eating, nutrition, and lifestyles are key concerns. The BSc (Hons) Dietetics course, ranked 6th out of 43 universities by the Complete University Guide 2023, equips students with knowledge and skills to impact lives through the study of food and nutrition's health effects. Combining theoretical modules, real-world clinical placements in diverse settings (including paediatrics and mental health), innovative in-house nutrition clinics, interprofessional learning, and a student-led Peer Assisted Learning (PALS) programme, it fosters cutting-edge research with world-class academics. Accredited by the British Dietetic Association and Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), successful completion enables HCPC registration eligibility and explores emerging roles in sustainability, freelance practice, media, and social enterprise.Note: To complete the course and qualify for registration, students must pass all practice-based competencies and theoretical studies, per HCPC requirements. Personal holidays are restricted to specified leave periods, including full attendance at induction week.
