About the course

This unique course equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel as a diagnostic radiographer, while providing foundational ultrasound experience. Benefit from an extended second year featuring intensive simulation and additional clinical placements with regional ultrasound providers. Unlike typical postgraduate-only ultrasonography training, this program enables HCPC registration as a radiographer, followed by a preceptorship year before advanced study.Train with cutting-edge medical imaging technology in the Clinical Skills Resource Centre (CSRC), featuring hospital ward replicas and high-specification patient simulators, and deepen anatomical knowledge at the Life Sciences Resource Centre (LSRC). Receive an iPad throughout the course, early patient-facing placements from Year 1, expert-led small-group discussions on case studies and breakthroughs, and online support including a custom student logbook. Year 1 is based in Plymouth with local placements; Years 2-3 alternate Plymouth semesters with Southwest and other regional placements.

A local representative of University of Plymouth in Singapore is available online to assist you with enquiries about this course.
