The BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology (Cardiac Physiology) is a four-year degree with integrated practice placements, serving as the primary training route for Clinical Physiologists and Healthcare Science Practitioners in Cardiovascular Physiology. Graduates work across healthcare settings, delivering quality-assured tests, diagnostic investigations, and interventions for patients.This multi-disciplinary programme integrates traditional and clinically focused subjects, delivered by specialist academic and clinical staff, and informed by patients, carers, and lay associates. It covers specialist Cardiac Physiology alongside broad organ function and bodily impacts, through a progressive curriculum underpinned by experiential and workplace learning. Supported by enthusiastic staff offering personal tutoring, research-informed teaching, and an enriched environment—including the Faculty of Health, modern laboratories, and Centres of Excellence—it provides a pathway to registration as a Clinical Physiologist or Healthcare Science Practitioner.
