Our BSc Mathematics programme ignites your enthusiasm while delivering valuable industry experience. It builds transferable skills through project work, group study, and presentations, applied during a dedicated placement year.Specialised modules reflect our research in medicine, biotechnology, epidemic modelling, fluid mechanics, statistical machine learning, algebra, number theory, and mathematical finance. Co-created with students, industry, and alumni, the curriculum balances core concepts with practical applications. The first year introduces applied and pure mathematics, statistics, and probability; later topics include differential equations, probabilistic models, finance, quantum mechanics, and relativity. Partnering with industry ensures graduates are workplace-ready.
