Electrical Engineering, BEng (Hons), with study abroad

Electrical engineers design and develop technologies for generating, processing, and distributing power, including Smart Grid systems for renewable energy, while supporting manufacturing industries and enabling hybrid/electric vehicles, trains, ships, and aircraft.This course equips you with specialist electrical knowledge and skills for a sustainable future through lab-based projects that build problem-solving and design abilities, individually and in teams. In year two, study at our China or Malaysia campuses with the identical UK curriculum taught in English. All students start with a common programme, allowing changes until the end of year two's third semester, plus options for a year abroad or in industry. By year three, specialise in your interests.
