Our four-year architecture course specialises in environmental design, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to create sustainable building systems that address climate challenges and ensure occupant comfort. Based at University Park, it offers access to state-of-the-art facilities, including studios, workshops, and labs with advanced renewable energy technologies. Students can select from up to 12 studio units in years two and three, engaging in diverse teaching methods, fieldwork, and collaborative projects through a vertical studio that fosters peer mentoring. Opportunities include submitting work to international competitions, with past wins such as the AJ Student Prize 2021 and RIBA awards.The course is accredited by RIBA, ARB, and CIBSE, exempting graduates from the Part One exam and paving the way for professional qualifications via supervised experience and further studies. Year one focuses on foundational design, environmental concepts, and mathematical tools. Year two delves into active and passive systems, while years three and four advance to complex projects and independent research, preparing students for architecture careers.
