Our department maintains strong partnerships with companies such as Airbus, Boeing, and Rolls-Royce Aerospace, offering placement opportunities for practical experience. Supported by state-of-the-art facilities and guest lectures, the program provides insights into the expanding aerospace sector, with hands-on projects covering topics like aerodynamics, avionics, flight mechanics, and human factors.In the final year, you can customize your studies through specialized modules in technical and management areas, culminating in an in-depth project to prepare for industry entry. The four-year MEng program, ideal for Chartered Engineer status, offers a deeper focus on electrical engineering compared to the BEng option. The curriculum includes a common first two years with core engineering foundations, followed by industry placement, group projects, and optional modules in streams like general aerospace or aeromechanics.
