About the course

The impacts of climate variability and climate change are affecting our lives like never before. There is an urgent need to better understand, quantify, and adapt to climate-related risks. The Bachelor of Climate Science and Adaptation is a specialised degree which will allow you to turn your passion into practice by providing you with fundamental tools to tackle the many challenges associated with quantifying and dealing with climate-related risks. You will learn how to assess the impacts of climate variability and change. You will also learn how to develop adaptation strategies (eg infrastructure, planning policy) that not only reduce the economic, environmental, and social costs of climate hazards, but are also optimal and robust across a range of plausible futures. As part of this degree, you have the opportunity to tailor your studies to meet your career aspirations through elective pathways.
