About the course

As a supply chain management major, you will acquire essential skills to optimize the flow of materials, finances, and information within organizations, preparing you for a dynamic and expanding field. The program requires 120 credit hours, including general education courses that fulfill KU Core requirements, such as MATH 115, PSYC 104, and a lab-based natural science. You will complete 20 hours of foundation business classes, 18 hours of core business courses, 12 hours of specific supply chain management classes, and nine hours of advanced supply chain courses at the 400 level or above. The program culminates in a capstone course, MGMT 498: Business Policy & Strategy, where you apply your skills to real-world cases.Additionally, as a KU business student, you must satisfy the International Dimension Requirement (IDR) by achieving proficiency in a foreign language through the intermediate II level, or by completing six credit hours via approved study abroad programs or courses in international studies.
